[title] => Geometry > Rally Drivers
[alias] => geometry-rally-drivers
[introtext] => ::cck::909::/cck::
::fulltext::
This is what happens when you don't get your rally stage designer a Christmas present. You might be thinking "well that seems a little obtuse". All these rugged, purpose built rally cars crashing into a hill is actually acute thing to watch :)))) .... anybody?
This particular corner flummoxes all these drivers because it is coming off a very narrow uphill section and the corner is only visible to the driver a few dozen feet before the intersection. Adding to the complexity is the extreme low speed that the corner requires promoting all variations of stalling / stopping with the handbrake. Judging by what I can see the best line that doesn't involve man slaughter is what the first car shown did. Yeah, it isn't the most direct line but should give the most exit speed.
The corner is just too tight for the majority of these cars’ steering racks but if you ask me extremely obtuse and acute angled corners just don't look right... I hope someone is appreciating these. Come on guys, without geometry life is pointless... That was the last one forever I promise.
