The Ford RS200 is one of those amazing cars that was bred to dominate, but was never really given the chance. Ford's European division developed the car over 2 years and entered Group B in 1986 after building 200 road going versions of this unassuming, dirt munching lunatic. As with most inaugural years for race cars, the RS 200 had its share of early problems . For instance, fitting a turbo with a similar capacity to the engine makes the engine more of an accessory than a power plant. The overwhelming result is turbo lag. Like rage quit amounts of lag. Despite this, Ford did get a podium in Sweden but soon after that the program was dropped due to safety concerns.

We are now left with a few examples on the road, a bunch of what-if's and unquestionably the best S1 Class Forza Horizon car. A while ago Jeremy Clarkson got to test one of the aforementioned road cars that had a little bit of work done to it. Watching the suspension try to handle the immense amount of torque is almost comical, but watching Clarkson be an idiot is absolutely comical. Enjoy!
