Ford Focus RS arrives this spring

The anticipated all-wheel-drive, 350bhp Ford Focus RS is set to arrive at U.S. dealerships this spring. America’s savior in the wannabe-rally-boy war has already rolled off the production line in Saarlouis, Germany. All it’s missing is a Monster Energy sticker on the rear window and gold BBS wheels, and boy racers everywhere will swoon over it and its inevitable role in Ken Block’s next Gymkhana.

The new Focus RS will join the excellent Focus ST and the adored Fiesta ST as the pinnacle of Ford’s performance hatchbacks. It is powered by a tweaked version of Ford’s 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine, accelerating from 0 to 60 in a supercar-like 4.7 seconds. Ford even give the RS a torque vectoring system to improve handling, grip and cornering speed.

Ford is set to put two more performance models on sale this year: the new F-150 Raptor and the new GT. They will join the Focus RS, Focus ST, Fiesta ST, and Shelby GT350 and GT350R.
