Muscle Car In The Mirror
Hi, I’m a 4 cylinder Mustang and I am comfortable with myself. Coming to these “Muscle car in the Mirror” meetings have really helped me. I’ve learned to look at the positives about myself. Like, I have good gas milage…aaaand all the other things I have going for me. The key is to block out the bad. Sure, I’ll never be a race car or earn the respect of my father, Grandfather or Great Grandfather. I’ll be owned by high school cheer leaders, posers and feeble Auto X tuners. My resale value will be more disappointing than my torque curve and you could stage a football game in the open space under my hood but at least I don’t look like a ghia notchback… (cough)…sorry I uh, I didn’t see you back there ghia. Truly though, when I start to get attacked by self doubt, it helps to think about my lineage and all the work that went into building me, and not the skid mark I'll leave on their legacy.
