1994 Volkswagen Corrado VR6
The Volkswagen Corrado is one of those cars that we have all spent time shopping for, but never actually bought one. Even Richard Hammond told you to buy one so why isn’t it in your driveway? Maybe it is because they have all been owned by 17-year-old yobs who have put more than 200k miles on them and stanced them so low they trip over their own pants.
However, this particular Corrado was “adult-owned” and comes in a sensible purple, Bremble Metallic color. It's lovably squat profile makes it look like a rabbit about to exercise its “flight” instinct. The interior of this example is concourse ready. It has the legendary 2.8L VR6 and a short-shift. This is peak 90s VW and you'll never find one this nice ever again. Seal the deal this time.
Pros
- Lovely Bremble Mettalic Purple color
- VR6 Noises
- This one doesn't look like the owner has a JNCO jean collection
Not-so Pros
- Sort of E36 M3 money
- Been on your radar for a long time but haven't pulled the trigger. This means something?
