1975 Volvo 242 DL

For someone more interested in character than speed this Texas based Volvo is a lot of bang for your buck. A lot of crap was taken care of recently like transmission rebuild, alternator and brakes which means the next owner gets to focus on making this thing look as clean as a hipster's prized Japanese market only mono Beatles record.

Get new or refurbished headlight housings, fix up the grill, buff out the paint, get some interior bits and a roof rack. When all is said and done the 242 would look fresher than a Schwinn Paramount with white deep V's and a Brooks saddle...am I right? Atticus knows what I'm talkin' bout.

Hipster jokes aside, the 242 may not be any kind of fast but it can charm with the best (the best being Neil Patrick Harris and select vintage VW's).
