Rallycross is some of the best racing out there. Nothing proves that more than the 2016 round two semifinal, which may be one of the best races ever seen (Starting at 1:22:40). Ken Block and his Focus RS are trying to push from the back to see if they can make it to their first final of the season. Liam Doran contends despite piloting a Mini that has an engine 400cc smaller than the rest of the field and Johan Kristoffersson is on a mission to prove the longer the last name the bigger the cajones.

The balance of brutality and precision propels Rallycross apart from anything else and makes it some one of the best shows on TV. This is only amplified when you add top shelf talent like 9 time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb, US Top Gear presenter Tanner Foust,Youtube star Mr. Block and DTM Legend Mattias Ekstrom. Sure there are faster cars and more impressive venues but nothing quite as grass roots or exciting as these drift crazed, hatchback dirt eaters.

Bonus point: Racing "production" cars allows us to believe that we can go out and buy part of the experience. It allows us to be fans of the cars and the drivers which makes it more fun.
